Potato with freshly Ground Masala


Ingredients

Potato   :  1 Big size
Garlic   :1 Clove
Turmeric   :1/4 tsp
Onion   :2 tbsp
Dry Red Chilly   :2 nos
Ginger   :1 inch
Lime Juice   :1 1/2 tsp
Salt   :to taste


Method
  1. Peel the potato and cut in to cubes.
  2. Grind the Red Chilly, Garlic, Ginger,Turmeric,Salt in the mixer/blender
  3. Add the Onion and pulse it for 3 times.
  4. Well Coat the Potato with the ground masala.
  5. In a pan take 1/4 cup of water and put the Potato mixture
  6. Allow it to cook well. mix it in between.
  7. Once Potato is cooked allow all the water to be evaporated.
  8. Add 3 tsp of oil in it and fry it well for about 3 minutes. ( Do not cover the pan while doing this)
  9. Garnish with Corrainder Leaves and finish it off with Lime Juice.
  10. Serve this with Lemon or Lime Rice, Sambar
Note: Lime Juice is must in this recipe. Do not cook the Potato after the addition of  lime juice.
